About the Role
Based in the Vancouver Boutique at Holt Renfrew, reporting to the Operations Manager, this permanent full-time role entails supporting the sales team with administrative duties and back-of-house operations while upholding CHANEL's high standards for customer service, personal presentation, and teamwork. The position also involves contributing to boutique openings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships both face-to-face and via phone by responding swiftly and appropriately to all queries, keeping clients well informed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to colleagues, promptly addressing requests from clients, Boutique Management, and Head Office.
- Assist on the sales floor as needed by greeting clients, showcasing new collections, and escorting them appropriately, all while applying CHANEL's customer service standards.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management within and across Boutiques, as well as with CHANEL Head Office when required.
- Prepare packaging and help with gift wrapping as necessary.
- Accurately record messages and ensure timely delivery to Fashion Advisors.
- Work efficiently within the team to keep memos and notices updated and displayed properly in all relevant areas.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company commercial activities and internal matters.
- Support inventory management tasks including shipments, transfers, and consolidation of cycle counts.
- Execute after-sales service duties.
- Ensure inventory is accurate, organized, and the back office remains clean and orderly at all times.
- Ensure cash and wrap stations are well prepared and stocked.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 1 to 3 years of successful experience in retail operations and/or stock-related roles.
- Knowledgeable about shipping and receiving processes.
- Strong customer service focus and attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Able to collaborate effectively across various departments and teams.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in a second language is considered a plus.
