Role Summary
As a member of the US Field Sales team, the Sales and Education Executive is entrusted with advancing business growth within a specific market by implementing strategic brand programs at open-sell retailers such as Sephora and Ulta. The position aims to surpass sales targets and CRM goals by fostering strong retailer relationships and supporting Dior Brand Ambassadors to uphold the brand's image and elevate the customer retail experience via consistent in-store engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and execute market-specific plans to exceed sales objectives aligned with brand strategies, focusing on revenue growth, market positioning, and penetration.
- Collaborate on market analysis with Area Management to make informed strategic decisions based on trends and competitive insights.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to enhance CRM, retail assortment, inventory, and branding efforts.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of retailer CRM initiatives and Dior.com programming to optimize omnichannel client experiences.
- Ensure flawless brand representation through consistent product launches, visual merchandising, and 360° execution.
- Formulate weekly, monthly, and annual strategies aligned with business priorities and events.
- Manage budgets effectively by optimizing staffing, travel expenses, and in-store spends to maximize returns.
- Oversee profitability by managing financial risks, budgets, and identifying innovative investment opportunities for incremental ROI.
People Management & Development
- Lead and inspire internal and external Brand Ambassadors to embody Dior’s values and meet objectives, maintaining professional excellence.
- Develop freelance associates, market leads, and retail teams by focusing on skill development and productivity enhancement.
- Drive talent recruitment, hiring, and retention strategies, including succession planning.
- Oversee the implementation and follow-up of training programs and Dior brand tools.
- Provide regular field support and coaching through strategic visits, emphasizing sales techniques and brand ambassador expertise.
- Boost productivity across specialty multi-retailers through leadership, training, and engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years in sales management and people leadership, preferably in luxury or cosmetics retail.
- Strong team collaboration skills with a growth-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated makeup artistry expertise with versatility across diverse skin tones and types.
- Extensive knowledge of fragrances, including scent families, notes, and psychological impact.
- Proficiency with social media platforms, with an emphasis on TikTok and Instagram preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities combined with interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and strategic business thinking.
- Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
- Business acumen for data analysis and strategic plan execution.
- Ability to multitask and work independently efficiently.
- Skilled in digital tools and common business software like Outlook, Power BI, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills with effective time management and resilience.
