About the role
This Vancouver-based digital marketing agency is seeking an experienced account professional to manage a portfolio of client relationships. In this position, you will partner closely with the leadership team, serve as the primary contact for clients, keep them informed on progress, and identify ways to expand each account.
Client account management
- Take ownership of assigned client accounts and act as the first point of contact.
- Develop lasting client relationships and maintain confidence in the quality of work delivered.
- Provide regular updates so clients stay informed about project status.
- Attend kickoff and onboarding meetings for newly assigned accounts.
- Create and present proposals to clients.
- Manage invoicing and day-to-day client administrative tasks.
Account growth
- Learn each client’s business well enough to identify upcoming needs and opportunities.
- Recommend and secure additional services and projects within existing accounts.
- Support account retention while growing revenue over time.
- Collaborate with leadership on strategies to expand your portfolio.
What the team is looking for
- At least 3 years of account management experience, preferably in an agency environment.
- Demonstrated success in client-facing roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- A structured, analytical, and highly organized working style.
- Comfort working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Business and accounting knowledge is considered an advantage.
Compensation
The stated annual pay range is CA$75,000 to CA$100,000, made up of base salary plus commission. Earnings include uncapped commission on new business generated within your accounts, along with a quarterly retention bonus tied to client retention and growth. High-performing team members can earn CA$100,000+.
