BreakFree Capital Tower sits in the heart of Canberra beside Lake Burley Griffin. The property features self-contained one- and two-bedroom apartments as well as three-bedroom penthouses, all set among landscaped parkland. Role Purpose
As a Room Attendant, you are an important part of the housekeeping team and help create a standout guest experience by maintaining spotless rooms and paying close attention to detail. The role also involves working well with teammates and assisting guests when required. Your contribution helps ensure each guest leaves with a positive impression and memorable stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including refreshing linens, sanitising bathrooms, and wiping all surfaces to create an excellent first impression.
- Carry out work in line with established housekeeping standards and procedures.
- Keep housekeeping trolleys tidy, stocked, and ready for use.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and follow all required safety practices.
- Protect guest privacy and security at all times.
- Escalate maintenance concerns quickly to support a smooth and comfortable guest experience.
Skills and Experience
- Prior work as a cleaner or room attendant is beneficial.
- Strong, friendly communication skills that help guests and colleagues feel comfortable.
- Good attention to detail, efficient work habits, and sound time management.
- Comfort with physical work, including moving between rooms via internal and external stairways and open walkways.
- Ability to work cooperatively with people from different backgrounds.
- Access to reliable transport and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
