Room Attendant (Part Time)

This part-time room attendant opportunity is based at a premium 5-star hotel in Melbourne CBD. The role sits with Challenger Services Group, a nationally recognised provider of outsourced workforce solutions working across hospitality and several other sectors.

The position is suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in immaculate presentation, and is confident delivering a high standard of guest service in a busy hotel setting.

Working arrangement

This is a day-shift position with regular weekday hours and weekends off.

• Monday to Thursday: 9:00am to 3:00pm
• Friday: full-day shift

The role offers stable ongoing part-time employment.

Key duties

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to a luxury hotel standard.
• Restock guest supplies and ensure each room is presented neatly and consistently.
• Provide courteous and professional guest service when needed.
• Follow workplace procedures and maintain safe work practices at all times.
• Use cleaning tools and chemicals in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Coordinate with team members to meet daily service expectations.

What we’re looking for

The ideal candidate is physically active, detail-focused and committed to maintaining consistently high standards.

• Prior room attendant experience in a hotel environment.
• Availability for Monday to Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm, plus a full shift every Friday.
• Strong attention to detail and solid time-management skills.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Experience using cleaning chemicals safely.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
