About the Role and Location

Join the Housekeeping team at Mantra South Bank, located in Brisbane's vibrant lifestyle and cultural precinct. Mantra South Bank offers a variety of accommodations including hotel rooms, studios, and one- and two-bedroom apartments, complemented by a Mediterranean-inspired menu at the OVELLO Bar & Kitchen. The location is close to local attractions such as restaurants, parklands, Streets Beach, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, and Queensland Museum.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, encompassing changing linens, sanitizing bathrooms, and wiping down surfaces to deliver an excellent first impression.
• Adhere strictly to established guidelines to maintain impeccable cleanliness standards.
• Organize and restock housekeeping trolleys, ensuring they are tidy and properly equipped.
• Handle cleaning supplies carefully, following safety instructions to preserve a safe environment.
• Protect guest privacy and security at all times to enhance comfort and trust.
• Promptly report any maintenance issues to contribute to uninterrupted guest experiences.

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior experience in cleaning or as a room attendant is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, exhibiting warmth and friendliness that makes guests and team members feel welcome.
• Strong attention to detail with efficient time management skills and pride in delivering quality work.
• Physically able to perform tasks that may require navigating stairs and moving between rooms.
• A collaborative spirit, comfortable working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
