Role Purpose

The Room Attendant is a crucial member of our Housekeeping team, responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards in guest rooms. This role goes beyond cleaning tasks to include teamwork and guest assistance, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable and comfortable experience.

Key Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms including changing linens, sanitizing bathrooms, and wiping surfaces to create outstanding first impressions
• Follow established cleaning procedures meticulously to uphold the hotel's high standards
• Maintain and restock housekeeping carts, ensuring they are orderly and fully supplied
• Utilize cleaning products safely while adhering to all safety guidelines
• Protect guest privacy and uphold their security to enhance their comfort
• Promptly report any room maintenance problems to ensure uninterrupted guest satisfaction

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior experience in cleaning or room attendant roles is advantageous
• Friendly and approachable communication skills that create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and colleagues
• Detail-oriented with efficient time management to accomplish tasks effectively
• Physically capable of navigating between rooms, including stairs and open pathways
• Enjoy working cooperatively within a diverse team environment
• Access to reliable transport and willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and public holidays
