Role Overview

The Revenue Executive will play a key role in supporting the hotel's revenue management operations by optimizing room inventory, pricing, and distribution channels to enhance occupancy rates and revenue per available room (RevPAR). This role involves close collaboration with departments such as Sales, Reservations, Front Office, and the Revenue/Reservations Manager to implement pricing and demand forecasting strategies effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in formulating and executing room pricing strategies on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Monitor and manage room rates across multiple channels, including online travel agents (OTAs), direct booking platforms, and corporate accounts.
  • Support proactive pricing adjustments based on demand fluctuations, seasonality, and market insights to maximize revenue metrics like RevPAR, average daily rate (ADR), and occupancy.
  • Manage room availability across all channels ensuring rate parity and appropriate restrictions such as minimum stays or stop-sell periods.
  • Conduct market research by tracking competitor pricing and analyzing demand trends.
  • Prepare regular pick-up reports and revenue forecasts to inform decision-making.
  • Analyze booking patterns, including cancellations and no-shows, to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Coordinate with Reservations, Front Office, and Sales teams to maintain seamless communication and align revenue strategies, especially for corporate and group bookings.
  • Maintain revenue management and property management systems, ensuring accurate data entry and generating performance reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in hotel reservations, revenue management, or front office roles.
  • Strong analytical aptitude and numeracy skills.
  • Good understanding of hotel distribution channels and revenue management principles.
  • Proficient with property management systems, preferably Opera, and capable in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
