About the Role and Company

This is an opportunity to join the largest Krispy Kreme store in Peterborough, offering a complete customer experience including dine-in, drive-thru, and their iconic Hot Light. As a Retail Shift Leader, you will guide daily operations while directly engaging with customers and staff to ensure a seamless, enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee shift activities at the forefront involving customer service, sales optimization, safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Manage and inspire your team to maintain high energy and motivation during shifts.
• Handle point-of-sale operations, prepare and serve beverages, package products, and maintain attractive product displays.
• Participate in inventory management, summarizing weekly reports, recruiting new team members, and promoting a positive work environment.
• Act as the acting manager during the absence of the store manager, ensuring smooth store operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience managing floor operations or eagerness to step into a leadership role.
• A people-focused leadership style that prioritizes customer satisfaction and team well-being.
• Excellent team player with a proactive approach and accountability.
• Availability to work flexibly across all days including weekends and weekdays.
• High energy, reliability, strong work ethic, and openness to continuous learning.
• Must be 18 years or older and confident to work independently, sometimes during early morning or late evening shifts.

Working Hours

The store operates daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with shifts possibly extending beyond usual hours. Lone working may occur especially in early mornings or late evenings.
