Description de l'emploi
About the Role
NSF International is a fast-growing global organization focused on public health and safety. Its purpose is to help protect and improve human health by supporting the safety of the food people eat, the water they drink, the health products they use, the air they breathe, and the environments where they live. The company provides food safety services ranging from product development support to training and regulatory compliance for clients across retail, food manufacturing, and hospitality.
To strengthen food safety auditing in retail, including coaching and training activities, NSF is looking for a Retail Auditor (field-based) for Frankfurt.
Responsibilities
- Conduct food safety audits, coaching sessions, and training assignments at client sites while ensuring a consistently high standard of audit quality.
- Deliver food safety training online or in person at customer locations and complete follow-up reporting accurately and on time.
- Provide support and advisory services to customers as part of the core role.
- Use clear communication to encourage client participation and commitment to the audit programs.
- Carry out customer-specific system audits within the food sector and against the relevant standards.
- Prepare for and follow up on audits, including report writing in German and English in line with customer expectations and internal requirements.
- Be available for occasional evening and weekend work.
Requirements
- Relevant background in the food or hospitality sector, such as master chef, hotel master, restaurant master, B.Sc. in nutrition and home economics, B.Sc. in food technology, or a similar qualification.
- Very strong written and spoken communication skills in German and English, along with a friendly and professional manner.
- Comfortable working independently and with a strong focus on results.
- This is a field-based food safety auditor role that involves travel, so a Class B driving licence is required; work may occasionally take place in the evenings and on weekends.
Benefits
- A long-term, secure position in a resilient organization.
- Work that contributes to socially relevant and sustainable services.
- Short decision-making paths thanks to a flat hierarchy.
- Mental Wellness and Social Day in addition to contractual leave.
- Company pension scheme and bicycle leasing.
