Resourcing Manager

Role overview

We are a specialist data consultancy focused on helping organisations realise the full potential of their data. Our services include AI readiness planning, data literacy, live reporting, and data management support during mergers and acquisitions.

We are hiring an experienced Resourcing Manager to join a growing team and own the process of placing the right data professionals into the right client assignments.

In this position, you will serve as the connection between the consultant bench and active client work, aligning skills, experience, and working style with project needs so that deployments happen quickly and with confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Align data professionals with client assignments by evaluating technical capability, client fit, and project goals.
• Create and update detailed role profiles that accurately reflect the skills and experience needed for each position.
• Oversee a bench of available consultants in partnership with the consulting capabilities team.
• Work with project managers to coordinate smooth transitions between assignments.
• Maintain relationships with external partners so talent availability matches business demand.
• Prepare recurring reports and performance metrics from casting and talent data, and participate in weekly stand-ups.
• Report directly to the Head of Talent & Casting.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in technical recruitment or resource management, ideally within data, technology, or consultancy environments; contractor recruitment experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of data-related roles, tools, and disciplines such as data science, machine learning, data engineering, and analytics.
• Good awareness of the UK data talent market and the broader competitive landscape.
• Strong networking capability and the ability to build productive professional relationships.

Skills and tools

• Familiarity with resourcing planning systems, with Kantata being preferred.
• Experience coordinating third-party resources to meet demand.
• Exposure to HubSpot is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
• Experience working with UK-based clients and stakeholders.
