Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Human Resources Executive in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on managing everyday HR operations, from welcoming new hires and handling exits to keeping employee files accurate and well organized. You will support employee relations, respond to staff queries, coordinate performance review activities, and assist with conflict resolution while following company policies. The position also involves helping shape and refresh HR policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with UAE labour regulations and internal standards, and contributing to recruitment, training, reporting, and a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage routine HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee record maintenance.
- Ensure HR documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed.
- Provide support for employee relations and address workforce concerns in a fair and confidential manner.
- Coordinate performance appraisal activities and related HR processes.
- Assist in resolving workplace conflicts in accordance with company guidelines.
- Develop, revise, and implement HR policies and procedures as needed.
- Ensure HR practices align with UAE labour law and organizational requirements.
- Support recruitment, training, and development activities when required.
- Prepare HR reports and assist management with people-related initiatives.
- Help foster an inclusive, collaborative, and positive work environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A solid background in Human Resources and HR administration, with exposure to core HR functions.
- Practical experience in HR operations, record management, documentation, and HRIS or similar systems.
- Working knowledge of employee relations and the ability to handle concerns professionally and discreetly.
- Experience in creating, interpreting, and applying HR policies in line with business and legal needs.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- HR credentials such as CIPD, SHRM, or an equivalent certification will be considered a plus.
- Good understanding of UAE labour law and HR practices in the region is strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal ability, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a busy, client-oriented setting.
