Description de l'emploi
About the Role
The Associate Renewals Sales Representative role focuses on supporting renewal sales activity end to end. The position centers on building accurate renewal quotes, reviewing contract language, coordinating with internal teams, and engaging with external stakeholders to move renewals to closure. It is suited to someone with a strong background in renewals, commercial negotiations, and detailed quote preparation, along with the ability to operate independently in a busy, high-accountability environment.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare precise and timely renewal quotations for maintenance agreements, typically 90 to 120 days before contract expiry.
- Examine renewal contracts, pricing, and commercial/legal compliance to confirm the terms are accurate.
- Support renewal activity across global markets; experience covering EMEA is a strong plus.
- Assess pricing, deal structure, renewal risk, and recovery opportunities using sound commercial judgment.
- Handle several renewals at once while balancing priorities in a fast-moving setting.
- Use advanced Excel, reporting, and analytical tools to monitor trends, create dashboards, and forecast renewals.
- Apply AI tools and automation methods to simplify workflows, improve reporting quality, and increase data accuracy.
- Contribute to and help run automation initiatives that strengthen renewal operations, efficiency, and team output.
- Keep Salesforce.com records clean and current for pipeline tracking, renewal status, and forecasting.
- Perform revenue and billing checks to support correct invoicing, account matching, and order documentation.
- Work closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, Revenue Recognition, Order Services, and Customer Success teams.
- Monitor non-renewals, study cancellation reasons, and share actionable insights through regular reporting.
- Show initiative, strong issue-solving ability, and a sharp eye for detail.
- Build product knowledge to better communicate renewal value.
- Take part in customer- and partner-facing renewal conversations and negotiations as the role broadens.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 4 years of experience in partner and customer renewal sales, including negotiation, contracting, and closing business.
- Strong practical experience in software renewals and quote creation.
- Experience supporting or leading automation initiatives that improve process efficiency and reporting.
- EMEA regional coverage experience is preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with analytics, dashboards, and data-led reporting.
- Exposure to AI tools and automation for operational improvement.
- Good understanding of commercial contracts, pricing models, and renewal terms.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or another CRM platform.
- Ability to perform well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a global, cross-functional setup.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
