Remote Finance Director (Controller and FP&A)

Role Overview

The Finance Director spearheads strategic financial management and accounting functions, ensuring precision in financial reporting and bolstering business expansion through effective budgeting, forecasting, and detailed analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, prepare financial statements, and ensure adherence to GAAP standards.
• Supervise all accounting operations, maintain internal controls, and manage audit preparations.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and create robust financial models to guide strategic business decisions.
• Evaluate financial performance, design KPI dashboards, and collaborate with senior leadership to enhance financial outcomes.
• Manage cash flow, contribute to strategic projects such as pricing strategies and market expansions, and support mergers and acquisitions efforts.
• Oversee financial systems, strengthen reporting frameworks, and foster team growth and development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; certifications such as CPA or an MBA are highly desirable.
• Bring over 10 years of advancing finance experience encompassing controllership and FP&A functions.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP compliance, financial reporting standards, and proficiency with financial software like Sage Intacct and QuickBooks.
• Exhibit strong analytical aptitude, excellent communication, and leadership qualities capable of converting data into actionable insights.
• Demonstrate adaptability, collaborative spirit, and the ability to work autonomously.
