About the Role
Doha Bank is hiring an experienced Relationship Manager to support its wholesale banking business in Doha, Qatar. The position focuses on acquiring new business, overseeing a portfolio of corporate customers, and designing financial solutions that align with client requirements.
Professionals with exposure to Trading & Manufacturing, Services, Contracting, Real Estate, and Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) are especially encouraged to consider this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, nurture, and maintain long-term relationships with corporate customers to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify fresh corporate credit opportunities and help grow the bank’s business portfolio.
- Work closely with Section Heads and Department Heads to execute corporate banking plans and strategy.
- Advise clients on banking products and solutions that fit their needs.
- Handle day-to-day account operations and coordinate service delivery for key corporate clients.
- Review financial statements and support Relationship Officers in managing portfolios effectively.
- Drive cross-selling initiatives across Wholesale Banking teams to improve revenue.
- Present Doha Bank’s offerings in a competitive way and support smooth product implementation.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should have a university degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree or CFA qualification would be an added advantage.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Corporate Banking or a comparable role in the banking sector is required. The role also calls for strong sales ability, relationship management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Fluency in English is essential, and Arabic language skills are highly desirable. The bank is looking for someone who thinks strategically, puts clients first, and is motivated by business growth.
