Role Overview
This leadership role is responsible for driving regional performance across business growth, profitability, risk control, branch productivity, customer acquisition, compliance, and team capability. The position requires building sustainable expansion while ensuring disciplined operations and strong asset quality across the region.
Key Performance Areas
The role focuses on measurable outcomes across the following areas:
- Sustainable business expansion through year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter AUM growth, disbursement value achievement versus plan, growth in active customer base, market share in key geographies, average ticket size, and a healthy mix of new and renewal loans.
- Profitability and P&L stewardship through net interest margin, yield on the gold loan portfolio, cost-to-income ratio, operating profit, ROA/ROE, and incremental profit contribution per branch.
- Portfolio quality and risk management with close monitoring of GNPA/NNPA, SMA buckets for 0–30 and 31–90 days, gold loan LTV compliance, auction loss, fraud incidence by number and value, and post-delinquency recovery rates.
- Branch productivity improvements by tracking new branch openings against plan, break-even timelines for new branches, AUM per branch, disbursement per branch and per RM, and reduction of underperforming branches.
- Sales effectiveness and customer acquisition by improving disbursement per sales officer and BM, lowering customer acquisition cost, increasing lead-to-disbursement conversion, strengthening repeat customer ratio, and expanding cross-sell and upsell performance.
- Compliance, audit, and regulatory adherence through management of RBI and internal audit observations, policy deviation cases, gold purity testing compliance, documentation accuracy, and zero-tolerance breach incidents.
- People leadership and capability building by monitoring attrition in branch and sales teams, reducing vacancy turnaround time for critical roles, preparing successors for key positions, improving training coverage, and ensuring productivity gains after training.
