About the role
We are seeking a practical, hands-on Rectification Assistant to join the Brisbane Operations team in Eagle Farm, Queensland. In this position, you will work closely with the Rectification Supervisor and Mechanic Team to get vehicles ready for auction. The role involves minor repair work, basic servicing, fitting parts, moving vehicles, preparing reports, coordinating with contractors, and supporting the PCV and Salvage book-in teams.
Key responsibilities
- Help with vehicle servicing, small repair jobs, and fitting replacement parts.
- Prepare road test notes and vehicle condition documentation.
- Use handheld devices to book vehicles in and record completed work.
- Track rectification reports, take action where needed, and help meet auction timelines.
- Keep rectification work areas and sheds clean, organised, and operational.
- Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to keep vehicle processing moving efficiently.
- Assist with the movement of vehicles both onto and off the site.
About you
To be successful in this role, you should have experience in a comparable position within a medium to large organisation, or bring relevant industry exposure. Experience in the automotive sector is required. You’ll need strong communication and customer service skills, good judgement, and a careful eye for detail. Familiarity with logistics systems is an advantage, and a mechanic’s qualification is also desirable. A current, valid driver’s licence is essential.
