About The Role
This position leads the end-to-end recruitment process for a rapidly expanding technology division, orchestrating talent acquisition strategies from sourcing candidates to finalizing offers. Acting as a strategic collaborator, the recruiter works closely with engineering and product leadership to grasp technical hiring needs and develop well-targeted candidate pipelines.
The role emphasizes providing a transparent and outstanding candidate experience while applying contemporary, analytics-driven sourcing approaches. Key objectives include maintaining effective pipeline flow and pinpointing recruitment challenges to support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle for technical, product, and operational positions, ensuring candidates experience a streamlined and timely process.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations hiring managers to create detailed job descriptions, establish evaluation criteria, and set hiring objectives.
- Utilize sources such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and niche talent communities to identify and attract passive technical candidates, fostering pipeline diversity.
- Perform comprehensive initial phone interviews to evaluate candidates' technical fit, cultural compatibility, and career aspirations.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of applicant tracking system data (e.g., Greenhouse), monitoring key recruitment metrics like time-to-hire and candidate progression rates.
- Lead candidate review meetings with interview teams, assist in making unbiased hiring decisions, and oversee the negotiation and offer extension process.
Qualifications
- Between 3 to 6 years of experience managing full-cycle recruitment, preferably within a venture-backed tech company environment.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and closing hires for roles such as software engineers, product managers, or technical operations staff.
- Expertise with modern ATS platforms like Greenhouse or Lever, and proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, capable of handling complex salary structures and equity arrangements.
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, communications, or a relevant discipline.
- Desirable: Familiarity with the Miami technology recruitment landscape or prior experience at an executive search firm focused on software engineering talent.
