Overview
This position is located at the Ceremonial Medical Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, and requires on-site presence as remote work is not an option.
Languages
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Hindi and Panjabi are considered advantageous.
Education & Experience
- Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university program lasting from 3 months to less than 1 year or an equivalent amount of experience.
- Between 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
Work Environment
- Employment is situated in the private sector within a healthcare institution, facility, or clinic.
Primary Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors and guide them to appropriate contacts or service areas.
- Provide fundamental information to clients and the general public.
- Collect and process data necessary for customer service operations.
- Manage office supply orders.
- Record and communicate information efficiently.
- Arrange and confirm appointments.
- Maintain accurate work records and logs.
- Handle receipt and issuance of payments.
- Carry out various clerical tasks including filing, sorting, and mail distribution.
- Answer phone calls, relay messages and calls appropriately.
- Perform data entry duties as required.
- Deliver quality customer service consistently.
Technical Skills
- Proficient with MS Office suite, including Excel and Windows operating system.
Additional Information
- Ability to work independently and perform repetitive tasks with close attention to detail.
- Physical requirements include a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication.
- Organizational abilities, flexibility, reliability, multitasking capability, and effective time management.
