Role overview
Join a welcoming frontline team at Bob Owens Retirement Village in Tauranga as a Receptionist. This is a full-time position, worked Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00, where you will help create a positive experience for residents, visitors, relatives, and staff.
What you will do
- Greet visitors, guide them as needed, and help ensure every arrival feels cared for.
- Support the reception and office function with day-to-day administrative work, including account-related and general office tasks.
- Deliver a warm, efficient, and courteous service to residents, family members, guests, and colleagues.
- Handle incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Respond to general questions from residents and visitors.
- Work collaboratively with team members and provide practical support where required.
What we are looking for
- A naturally patient and empathetic approach, especially when working with older people.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A dependable, approachable, and professional attitude.
