Rebar Detailer

About the Role

We seek a seasoned Rebar Detailer with no less than 4 years of experience in building construction projects. This role entails preparing precise reinforcement drawings, bar bending schedules, and detailed rebar drawings aligned with structural specifications and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft comprehensive reinforcement and rebar shop drawings referencing structural and architectural plans.
• Create accurate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and reinforcement schedules.
• Produce detailed designs for various structural components including slabs, beams, columns, footings, walls, and staircases.
• Analyze structural drawings to detect inconsistencies, clashes, or detailing necessities.
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers and design teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure all reinforcement details conform to approved structural drawings, project standards, and pertinent codes.
• Update and revise drawings considering engineering feedback, site demands, and design modifications.
• Verify critical details such as dimensions, bar dimensions, spacing, laps, anchorage, and development lengths.
• Work with the site team remotely to clarify rebar details and address issues related to drawings.
• Keep organized records of drawings, changes, and related documents.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or related qualification.
• At least 4 years of direct experience as a Rebar Detailer in building construction.
• Proficient in reinforcement detailing for building structures.
• Mandatory expertise with CADS RC and/or RebarCAD software.
• Strong understanding of Bar Bending Schedules and reinforcement detailing.
• Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings proficiently.
• Solid knowledge of construction techniques and reinforcement procedures.
• Familiarity with relevant structural codes and standards is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving aptitude.
• Capable of working autonomously and adhering to project timelines.
