Overview
Join our global exchange team as a Quantitative Researcher and contribute to the development of a rapidly expanding trading platform featuring innovative multi-asset products that bridge traditional finance and digital markets. Key Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and verify pricing models for derivatives spanning equities, commodities, futures, perpetual swaps, and options.
- Track and evaluate real-time and historical portfolio risks including exposure levels, leverage, margin usage, concentration risks, and potential liquidations.
- Develop automated liquidation strategies and algorithms optimizing risk reduction while minimizing market impact during high volatility.
- Conduct scenario analyses and stress tests under diverse market conditions to assess resilience.
- Advise on risk factors for product onboarding, listings, and periodic reviews covering haircuts, margin requirements, liquidation criteria, index pricing methodologies, funding rates, and position limits.
- Investigate market microstructure influences on multi-asset derivatives and recalibrate risk models in response to changing market dynamics.
- Assist in the creation and upkeep of internal risk monitoring dashboards and analytical tools.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in quantitative research, risk management, trading, or closely related disciplines.
- Master’s or PhD degree in quantitative fields such as mathematics, physics, statistics, engineering, computer science, financial engineering, or quantitative finance.
- Proficiency in Python programming and managing SQL/noSQL databases and data architectures.
- Expert knowledge of derivatives pricing theories applicable to both conventional and digital asset classes.
- In-depth understanding of order book dynamics (L1-L3 data) and cross/portfolio margining techniques.
- Comprehensive grasp of equities, commodities, macro assets, and derivative products including futures and perpetuals.
- Preferred direct trading experience with solid insights into margin trading and liquidation processes.
