Role Overview

The Quality Control Chemist will be key in upholding product quality by conducting tests, inspections, and analyses on raw materials and finished goods to detect any deviations from established standards. This position supports the enhancement of manufacturing processes and contributes to delivering excellent customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain inspection procedures ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor adherence to established protocols and document deviations accordingly.
• Identify and report quality defects and trends to facilitate continuous process improvements.
• Distribute tasks and manage workloads efficiently to achieve operational objectives.
• Assess performance and provide feedback aimed at quality enhancement.
• Update quality control documentation, procedures, and processes regularly.
• Manage calibration and upkeep of quality control equipment.
• Work closely with production teams to tackle quality challenges.
• Support sales and marketing efforts by offering technical expertise and ensuring product market alignment.
• Analyze quality data to detect patterns and guide strategic improvements.
• Perform root cause analysis of non-conformities and enforce corrective measures.
• Initiate and implement quality improvements to boost product and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Assurance, or related disciplines.
• Proficient in both Arabic and English languages.
• Experience ranging from 0 to 2 years in a relevant quality control role.

Essential Competencies

• Knowledge of quality control techniques, inspection methods, and standards such as ISO.
• Effective problem-solving abilities to promptly resolve quality issues.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to collaborate well with team members.
