Quality Assurance Tester

About the Role

Altis is searching for a meticulous and technologically adept Quality Assurance Tester to join their team in Toronto, ON. This permanent on-site position offers an opportunity to support a variety of innovative parking technology projects aimed at elevating customer experiences through reliable systems and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and implement detailed test scripts targeting parking systems, mobile applications, and backend solutions to ensure dependable testing processes.
• Perform comprehensive testing both onsite and virtually, validating functionality across system components including integrations, payment gateways, dashboards, and APIs.
• Review and analyze operational data from testing phases, compiling reports that highlight trends, risks, and actionable insights for improvements.
• Assist in project lifecycle management from planning stages to closure by tracking schedules, budgets, key performance indicators, documentation, and quality adherence.
• Conduct field audits and evaluate operational procedures to recommend process and service enhancements.
• Collaborate effectively with internal departments, contractors, and third-party partners to facilitate smooth project execution and technology adoption.
• Assess vendor and service providers’ performance using quantitative metrics and KPIs to foster continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• A minimum of three years’ professional experience in data analysis, business analysis, QA, or technical analysis, preferably within technology or systems integration sectors.
• Possession of a post-secondary diploma or degree in fields such as Business, Engineering, or Planning.
• Proven experience developing and executing test cases for software applications, IoT devices, or field systems.
• Robust analytical abilities to interpret complex datasets into actionable business conclusions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or SAP is advantageous.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities capable of handling multiple concurrent priorities.
• Valid G driver’s license and access to a vehicle for conducting site visits; ability to work independently in field settings and cooperatively within teams.
