PWHT Operator

Role Overview

T-ALL Inspection Group is looking for an experienced PWHT Operator to support post-weld heat treatment work in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This position is suited to someone who has hands-on exposure to heat treatment activities on oil and gas pipeline assignments and can work to approved technical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle PWHT equipment, including electrical resistance heating systems and temperature recording devices.
• Carry out post-weld heat treatment tasks in line with approved WPS documents and PWHT procedures.
• Manage heating, soaking, and cooling cycles according to engineering specifications.
• Fit thermocouples and keep track of temperature balance during the heat treatment process.
• Maintain clear and accurate temperature charts and treatment records.
• Work closely with welding and quality control teams during hold points and witness inspections.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of PWHT experience in oil and gas or petrochemical project environments.
• Prior work on ASME or ADNOC projects is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of welding procedure specifications and heat treatment needs.
• Ability to understand technical instructions and reports written in English.
