Role overview
This full-time, on-site Purchase Specialist position in Jeddah focuses on managing the complete purchasing cycle. The role covers creating and handling purchase orders, collecting supplier quotations, and coordinating with vendors so goods and services arrive on time. It also involves tracking stock levels, supporting demand planning, and ensuring buying decisions stay within budget while meeting quality expectations.
What you will do
- Handle purchase requests from initiation through completion.
- Prepare, issue, and process purchase orders accurately.
- Request and compare quotations from vendors and suppliers.
- Work with suppliers to secure timely delivery of required items and services.
- Monitor inventory to help identify replenishment needs.
- Support demand forecasting based on operational requirements.
- Review supplier offers and evaluate vendor performance.
- Follow up on order progress and resolve delivery or invoice-related problems.
- Keep purchasing files and records up to date and accurate.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and finance teams to support uninterrupted park activities and cost control.
Qualifications and requirements
- Good working knowledge of purchasing procedures and procurement workflows.
- Ability to manage purchase orders and vendor coordination effectively.
- Strong analytical ability to assess quotations and supplier performance.
- Prior experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing is an advantage, especially in hospitality, entertainment, or related sectors.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage several orders, deadlines, and priorities at once.
- Comfort using office tools and purchasing systems; ERP or inventory software experience is a plus.
- Clear communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external suppliers.
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a similar discipline is preferred.
