Role overview

Kingfa Science & Technology (India) Limited is seeking a Purchase Executive for its Chakan, Pune facility. This role reports to the Purchase Manager and focuses on managing end-to-end procurement for OPEX and MRO requirements so plant operations continue smoothly without avoidable delays.

The company is a leading producer and supplier of reinforced polypropylene compounds, thermoplastic elastomers, and fibre-reinforced composites. It operates manufacturing units at Puducherry, Pune (Chakan), and Manesar (Gurgaon), with a combined annual capacity of more than 100,000 TPA. Kingfa is TS-16949 certified, employs over 350 people, and serves major Indian and multinational OEMs including Tata Motors and Renault Nissan. After acquiring Hydro S&S, the organization also expanded into engineering plastics such as PBT and polyamides for lighting, electrical, automotive, and other applications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchasing for OPEX items used across manufacturing sites, warehouses, and office operations.
• Handle sourcing and buying of MRO materials, including consumables, spare parts, safety supplies, and utility or service requirements.
• Collect vendor quotations, build comparison sheets, and close purchases based on value, quality, and delivery performance.
• Ensure buying timelines are met so production and maintenance teams do not face avoidable interruptions.
• Search for and onboard new suppliers to improve pricing and sourcing efficiency.
• Negotiate commercial terms such as rates, payment schedules, and service agreements.
• Support cost reduction efforts and process optimization initiatives within procurement.
• Work closely with Production, Maintenance, EHS, QA, Warehouse, and Finance teams to align purchase activities.
• Monitor order progress and follow up to secure on-time delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain procurement files, vendor information, and all supporting documentation in an organized manner.

Candidate profile

The preferred candidate should hold a BE/B.Tech degree, with Electrical or Mechanical specialization being an added advantage. The role calls for 2 to 3 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing procurement. Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP platforms is important, along with strong vendor handling and negotiation capabilities. The expected age range for this position is 25 to 35 years.
