Role Overview
Summerset Richmond is seeking a practical, hands-on Property Assistant for a full-time position. In this role, you will support the upkeep of the village through a mix of maintenance, gardening, and property care tasks. The position suits someone who likes variety, enjoys solving problems, and takes satisfaction in keeping things running smoothly.
Key Duties
- Support day-to-day property upkeep and garden maintenance across the village.
- Assist with repairs, building maintenance, and refurbishment work.
- Help carry out landscaping, gardening, and general grounds care tasks.
- Participate in inspections and flag any safety hazards or maintenance concerns.
- Communicate professionally with residents, colleagues, and contractors.
Working Pattern
This is a 40-hour per week role, with 8 hours worked each day. The exact timing of the hours is to be confirmed.

Experience and Skills
- Background in property maintenance and gardening.
- Solid hands-on DIY ability or trade experience; trade qualification is preferred.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
