Job Overview
We seek a Project Manager specializing in corporate interiors, based in New York, to join our team at Kotak Design. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution qualifying for Intern status with the Ontario Association of Architects. This role demands a highly motivated individual who possesses excellent communication skills and thrives in collaborative environments focused on delivering top-tier results.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop detailed architectural presentation materials such as renderings, boards, and booklets to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Create detailed specifications and construction documents ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Utilize expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite in day-to-day project execution.
- Work closely on active construction sites contributing to multiple project typologies.
- Collaborate using various tools to enhance design effectiveness, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Engage with advanced design software like Rhino and Grasshopper, focusing on parametric design.
- Maintain LEED BD+C Accreditation where applicable to meet sustainability goals.
Skill and Experience Requirements
- Prior practical experience preparing detailed construction documents and specifications.
- Strong proficiency in current AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Studio Max, Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working onsite on active construction projects across diverse types.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a self-driven and collaborative work approach.
- Master’s degree in Architecture with eligibility for Ontario Association of Architects Intern status.
- Preferably, familiarity with Adobe products, Rhino, Grasshopper, parametric design and holding LEED BD+C Accreditation.
