Description de l'emploi

About the Role

The Here for Good Foundation is looking for a proactive and well-organised Project & Events Coordinator to help deliver its Men's Learning Circles program. The role involves supporting event coordination, participant and volunteer communication, and the smooth running of each Learning Circle.

This position is suited to someone at an early stage in their career who enjoys planning events, working with people, and contributing to meaningful community impact. The expected commitment is around 10–15 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of Men's Learning Circles.
  • Help organise community events from start to finish.
  • Handle registrations and ongoing communication with participants.
  • Work with venues, facilitators, and volunteers to keep activities on track.
  • Assist with marketing tasks and promotion through social media.
  • Create event schedules, checklists, and project-related documents.
  • Gather feedback from participants and support reporting activities.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Foundation.

About You

  • You are organised and comfortable managing several tasks at once.
  • You bring strong interpersonal skills and communicate clearly.
  • You are practical, action-oriented, honest, and dependable.
  • You build positive relationships easily and enjoy working with others.
  • You are able to take initiative and work independently when needed.
  • You are motivated by community-focused work and social impact.

The Foundation is a small charity and is looking for someone who is genuinely committed to the role. Reliability is especially important, and the team would prefer a person who wants to grow with the organisation rather than use the role as a short-term stopgap.

Essential Requirements

  • Prior experience in event coordination, project support, or administration.
  • Strong skills in organisation and time management.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office and online platforms.
  • Professional, friendly communication style.
  • A current Working with Children Check, or the willingness to obtain one before starting.
  • Must be based in Adelaide or Melbourne.
  • Availability to attend occasional evening or weekend events.

Desirable Experience

  • Background in community or not-for-profit organisations.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating volunteers.
  • Exposure to marketing or social media tasks.
  • First Aid Certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
