About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and execution-focused Site Project Manager to oversee the comprehensive management of commercial office interior and construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in interior fit-outs, civil construction, MEP coordination, and project management. This position demands full responsibility for site execution and the capability to independently handle projects in the absence of the Chief Architect, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to quality, and zero avoidable escalations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of commercial office interiors, construction, C&I, and MEP projects from mobilization through to final handover.
  • Ensure projects meet defined scope, stay within budget, align with quality standards, and adhere to timelines.
  • Develop execution plans, track daily site activities, and drive progress against schedules.
  • Coordinate architectural, civil, structural, interior, MEP, and finishing works for smooth project delivery.

Site Management

  • Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and labor forces on site.
  • Guarantee quality workmanship while complying with company standards.
  • Conduct routine site inspections and proactively address execution challenges.
  • Ensure safety compliance and uphold statutory regulations.

MEP Coordination

  • Collaborate the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works with civil and interior activities.
  • Identify and resolve site-level conflicts prior to execution.
  • Review MEP layouts ensuring integration with architectural and interior design works.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the main on-site liaison for clients, consultants, architects, PMC teams, vendors, and contractors.
  • Forge and maintain professional relationships with all project stakeholders.
  • Conduct progress meetings, offer regular updates, and address concerns preemptively.
  • Facilitate communications that minimize project issues and escalations.

Vendor & Client Coordination

  • Manage vendor interactions relating to procurement, material deliveries, installations, and execution.
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure timely task completion.
  • Coordinate with clients for approvals, inspections, design clarifications, and meeting project milestones.
  • Promote client satisfaction through effective communication and prompt issue resolution.

Project Management & PMC Coordination

  • Exhibit strong knowledge of Project Management Consultancy (PMC) procedures and scope.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, procurements, risks, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with consultants and stakeholders to ensure project compliance.
  • Maintain thorough documentation including BOQs, RFIs, variation orders, MOMs, and handover records.

Leadership & Ownership

  • Independently manage site execution when the Chief Architect is unavailable.
  • Take full ownership of project delivery from initiation to completion.
  • Make timely on-site decisions to avoid delays and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Lead teams with accountability, targeting minimal or no escalations from clients or stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Four to five years of experience in managing commercial office interiors, construction, and C&I projects.
  • Strong skills in commercial interior fit-outs, civil construction, structural coordination, and finishing works.
  • In-depth knowledge of MEP systems and site coordination.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project management practices and PMC scope.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in stakeholder, vendor, contractor coordination, and client handling.
  • Excellent planning, scheduling, and execution skills.
  • Effective leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to independently manage multiple stakeholders and fast-moving project environments.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project documentation tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Mandatory experience in commercial office fit-outs, construction, and C&I projects.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling software and construction management tools preferred.
