Role Overview
The Project Coordinator II is responsible for overseeing, organizing, and executing project plans while supporting the Project Manager to deliver projects efficiently and effectively. This role may also entail leading smaller projects as directed by management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits to clients to assess conditions and establish requirements for system design and installation.
- Collaborate with the Project Management team to formulate and handle schedules, resource allocation, procurement, project commissioning, and risk mitigation, focusing on cost control and productivity maximization through best practices.
- Coordinate the collection and management of technical documents such as shop drawings and as-built records and prepare comprehensive project closeout packages.
- Maintain clear and effective communication channels, both written and verbal, for all project-related matters.
- Ensure client satisfaction by swiftly addressing and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Participate in site visits and client walkthroughs to ensure quality standards are met.
- Complete additional duties as assigned to facilitate project success.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License is mandatory.
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in project coordination or project management.
- Experience in organizing and overseeing technical documentation management.
- Strong communication abilities both verbally and in writing, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage time efficiently, and meet multiple deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in engineering technology fields such as controls and instrumentation, electronics, or electrical is advantageous.
- Relevant experience in the construction or security industries is a plus.
- Familiarity with D365 software is considered beneficial.
Physical and Working Conditions
- Must communicate effectively including clear vision, hearing, speech, and writing to interact with colleagues and clients.
- Physical dexterity is required for occasional reaching, lifting of light objects, and operating office equipment.
- Work environment consists of a clean, orderly, well-lit, and ventilated office with low to moderate noise levels.
Compensation
Salary ranges between $70,000 and $85,000 annually, depending on experience.
