Description de l'emploi

About Revolution Space

Revolution Space develops advanced space systems for the modern era. Every team member contributes to critical projects that ensure the functionality and success of products operating in orbit.

Position Overview

The Program Scheduler will take full ownership of the scheduling function throughout the company. This includes creating, standardizing, and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across all active programs, from subsystems to full spacecraft or vehicle lifecycles. The role requires close collaboration with Program Managers and Integrated Product Team leads to keep IMS as the definitive schedule for leadership and clients. Additionally, the role supports senior leadership by aiding resource allocation decisions and prioritization of projects. Ownership extends to scheduling processes, tools, and standards company-wide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining IMS and Integrated Master Plans (IMP) throughout program phases, including requirements reviews, design reviews, integration, testing, delivery, and launch as applicable
  • Creating standardized scheduling procedures, templates, and best practices for consistent application across all programs
  • Constructing and administering Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)-linked schedules with regular resource loading
  • Conducting Critical Path Methodology (CPM) analyses, schedule risk assessments, and tracking float trends to foresee and address potential delays
  • Coordinating schedule integration across internal programs, subcontractors, and suppliers, maintaining visibility into sub-tier schedules
  • Preparing and presenting schedule status reports for Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), and customer presentations
  • Ensuring conformance with Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Supplier Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs)
  • Assisting proposal teams with schedules for basis of estimate (BOE) creation and risk evaluation for new business opportunities
  • Documenting scheduling methodologies, maintaining program control records, and conducting data quality assessments ahead of surveillance reviews

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 5 years experience in program scheduling for U.S. government defense or aerospace projects; 10+ years preferred
  • Demonstrable experience independently managing and scaling scheduling functions rather than only executing tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Strong understanding and application of Critical Path Methodology (CPM)
  • Knowledgeable in government acquisition, reporting processes, CDRLs, and SDRLs
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of reporting schedule status to multiple senior leaders simultaneously
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance

Preferred Skills

  • Certification as a PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Experience working on hardware-intensive spacecraft or vehicle programs, including Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) and launch campaign planning
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment while building scheduling functions from the ground up

Benefits

  • Paid holidays, sick leave, and unlimited vacation
  • Comprehensive health and dental insurance with 80% employer contribution
  • 401(k) plan with 4% company match and immediate vesting
  • Life insurance coverage
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance
  • Educational assistance program

Additional Information

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals under U.S. export laws related to space technology. The company is an equal opportunity employer, considering all qualified applicants without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or other protected characteristics.

Salary
