Role Overview
Britannia Industries Limited is looking for a Production Planning Officer to handle production and sourcing planning activities from Bengaluru. The role focuses on coordinating factory, SKU, and depot mapping, preparing production schedules, and supporting smooth supply planning across promotion and export requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create the monthly sourcing plan and complete the final factory-SKU-depot mapping.
- Issue the fortnightly production plan and the weekly production schedule.
- Factor promotional activity and export demand into the production plan and schedule.
- Prepare detailed plans for transitions between pack production and promotional production.
- Review weekly plan-versus-actual performance across production, dispatch, IRT, promotion, and export.
- Identify and address bottlenecks in factory scheduling and capacity limitations.
- Release stock ageing and non-moving stock updates for depots and factories.
