Role overview
The team is seeking motivated Production Operators to work at the Gracefield site in Lower Hutt. In this hands-on role, you will help manufacture paint using specialised tools and product formulations while making sure every batch meets strict quality expectations. You will be trained across the full production process, including handling raw materials, operating filling and labelling tasks, re-canning and rework activities, and stocktaking. No prior manufacturing background is required, as training and ongoing support will be provided. A positive attitude and willingness to show up and learn are key.
Key responsibilities
- Take part in paint production activities such as mixing, raw material handling, filling, and labelling.
- Work safely by following site rules, identifying hazards, and supporting sustainability practices.
- Help maintain a tidy, well-organised workplace by keeping 5S standards in place.
- Participate in training, follow established site procedures, and share knowledge to support team performance.
- Assist with quality-related tasks including stock checks, re-canning, and rework.
Training and support
You will receive thorough onboarding and continued support across all aspects of the role, so manufacturing experience is not necessary.
