Job Overview
We are currently seeking reliable kitchen staff for our production kitchen located in Mascot, NSW. The role involves working in the bakery and pizza dough sections producing products like focaccia, ciabatta, and pizza bases. This physically demanding position requires handling heavy ingredients such as flour and dough.
Responsibilities
- Prepare bakery items including focaccia, ciabatta, and pizza dough in a production kitchen environment.
- Handle and manage heavy ingredients safely during food preparation.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience preferred, especially in bakery or pizza making.
- Physical stamina for handling heavy materials.
- Intermediate level of English for effective communication.
- Responsible and reliable work ethic, with or without prior experience.
- Valid visa status: Working holiday, student, or permanent resident.
- Commitment to work for a minimum of six months.
Work Schedule
- Work hours: 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime of 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Work days: Between 2 to 4 days weekly, Monday through Saturday based on shift roster.
