The Production Executive will execute production processes as directed by the Plant/Production Manager, assigning tasks to Senior and Junior Chemists and overseeing their activities to ensure timely and quality production output.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate production activities, schedules, and priorities within shifts; monitor production reports and quality data to implement effective corrective measures.
• Develop and regularly update production schedules to optimize machinery, equipment capacity, and resource usage while minimizing costs, meeting daily, weekly, and monthly production targets, including trial runs.
• Ensure efficient allocation of resources to satisfy production demands.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Team to guarantee timely receipt of raw materials according to pull lists and dispatch finished goods from the plant.
• Liaise with maintenance teams to promptly address and resolve equipment malfunctions, reducing downtime; handle minor onsite issues independently and escalate major problems for approved corrective actions.
• Maintain adherence to plant quality policies and product specifications by following production procedures and conducting daily shop floor inspections to sustain product quality.
• Prepare and submit production records and statistics to the Production Manager, Planner, or Operations Leader to facilitate schedule adjustments and workflow management for maximum capacity and efficiency.
• Comply with corporate and statutory environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations; enforce safety and housekeeping standards among personnel to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Oversee maintenance of effluent pipelines from the plant to the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP).
• Serve as safety representative during shifts and implement Responsible Care guidelines consistently.
• Conduct training sessions for personnel to enhance their production skills and methods as needed.
• Manage shift teams, ensuring appropriate resource allocation in line with safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Technology, Polymer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant operations, preferably within a polyurethane (PU) polymer manufacturing environment.
• Core skills include strong customer orientation, entrepreneurial mindset, and effective communication.
• Professional capabilities in work management, planning and organizing, and health, safety, and environmental awareness.
