Role overview
Yates Services is hiring a full-time, on-site Product Quality Assurance Technician in Jackson, MS. The role supports the client’s needs in the Product Quality Assurance department by helping move vehicles through the facility and through key quality inspection points. The technician will also identify vehicles that need repair and place them back into the appropriate ready-for-transport areas.
Key duties
- Move vehicles into and out of the facility as needed.
- Guide vehicles through the different quality inspection stations.
- Spot vehicles marked for repair and return them to the correct staging area for external transport.
- Handle additional department-related tasks as assigned.
Working conditions
- Ability to walk long distances is required.
- Extended periods of standing are part of the job.
- Work may involve multiple shift patterns.
- The environment is fast-paced and requires strong reliability.
Candidate profile
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- Prior experience in a production setting is preferred.
