Description de l'emploi

Role Overview

Arya Health is looking for a highly organized Product Manager to lead the daily execution and strategic planning of our EMR and clinic management system. This person will be responsible for owning the product board, translating clinic and customer feedback into actionable product features, and collaborating closely with the Head of Development and engineering teams to guarantee quality and timely delivery. They will also spearhead major initiatives related to onboarding and migrating large clinic customers.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced role where shifting priorities around active clinic launches are normal. The ideal candidate thrives in situations that require quick reprioritization, decision-making with incomplete data, and managing multiple concurrent workstreams without losing focus on details. Resilience in handling a demanding workload is necessary.

Location: Based in the British Columbia Lower Mainland (Metro Vancouver). Requires working onsite 1-2 days weekly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize the product roadmap according to clinic feedback, migration insights, and business objectives.
  • Convert onboarding and go-live needs—such as billing setups, referral processes, and EMR data migration—into precise product requirements.
  • Maintain a balance between developing new features and ensuring platform stability for ongoing customer migrations.
  • Track and manage all assigned product tasks on the board, confirming they meet deadlines.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, particularly integration challenges related to billing and data extract partners.
  • Report regularly to the Head of Development on progress, sprint outcomes, and outstanding issues.
  • Manage ticket creation, tracking, and updates in Jira, ensuring hotfixes during clinic go-lives are completed within 24 hours.
  • Prioritize tasks to align with company goals and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead UX design efforts for clinical and admin workflows, collaborating with Customer Success and Implementation teams to create wireframes and prototypes meeting user needs.
  • Oversee quality assurance by developing test plans, spotting bugs, and confirming solutions before clinic launches.
  • Coordinate software releases with engineering, managing schedules and post-launch issue tracking, focusing on releases that affect active migrations.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between developers and other stakeholders, ensuring technical requirements including billing and third-party integrations are correctly implemented.
  • Understand technical diagnostics such as logs and API errors to effectively prioritize development tasks without always requiring technical translations.
  • Collaborate closely with Implementation and Customer Success teams to resolve onboarding and go-live platform issues.
  • Communicate clearly across clinic-facing teams, business stakeholders, and development to align priorities and keep all parties informed about roadmap and platform changes.
  • Propose and implement improvements in sprint efficiency and task monitoring, facilitating agile ceremonies like sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  • Create and manage new build and feature request tickets in coordination with Customer Support.
  • Assist the support team with complicated technical issues and monitor support channels for recurring product concerns that should influence roadmap planning.
  • Enforce strict deadlines, especially around clinic go-live events, ensuring no tasks are overlooked and holding partners accountable for quality and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare software, EMR/EHR systems, or a regulated SaaS environment preferred.
  • Technical proficiency enabling troubleshooting of development team issues such as reading logs and identifying API or database errors independently.
  • Solid knowledge of agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira.
  • Understanding of clinic operations including billing, scheduling, and referrals is a strong advantage.
  • Expertise in quality assurance processes and managing software releases.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with capability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations, adapt priorities rapidly, and remain effective amidst concurrent demands.
  • A proactive and detail-driven approach suited to a fast-evolving environment with live customer migrations.
  • Leadership or management experience is advantageous.

Daily Work Expectations

  • Maintain and update the product board, ensuring priority tasks advance as scheduled.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the Head of Development summarizing sprint status and obstacles.
  • Monitor ticket statuses, enforce quick hotfix turnarounds, and oversee release scheduling and deployment.
  • Lead daily stand-ups with the engineering team.
  • Coordinate closely with Implementation and Customer Success on issues arising during onboarding and go-live phases.

Additional Information

This role is full-time based in BC Lower Mainland, requiring presence in-office 1-2 days weekly. Candidates with limited formal product management experience but who demonstrate substantial grit and eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply.
