Key Responsibilities

• Organize and zone the produce department efficiently.
• Rotate stock regularly and monitor for expired items to ensure freshness.
• Verify that all merchandise is accurately priced and clearly labeled.
• Strictly follow policies for cold chain management, including thermometer calibrations, temperature logging, and compliance with food safety standards.
• Maintain proper food handling and sanitation practices in the department.
• Carry out procedures related to ordering, clearances, markdowns, and pricing adjustments.
• Ensure the produce area is consistently well-stocked and prepared for customers throughout business hours.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Stock merchandise, pick products, downstock when necessary, apply product protection measures, and set modular displays including flex modulars and shelf caps.

Compensation

Starting wage for this position is $18.05 per hour.

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
