Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and proper zoning in the produce department to ensure it is always accessible and welcoming to customers.
- Regularly rotate stock to uphold freshness, promptly remove expired or spoiled items, and preserve product quality.
- Verify that all produce is priced accurately and properly labeled, following procedures for ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, signage, and labeling.
- Adhere strictly to food safety protocols, including sanitation, cold chain maintenance, temperature monitoring, and compliance with sell-by and expiration dates.
- Stock and destock merchandise as necessary, apply protective measures on products when required, and arrange displays such as modulars, flex modulars, and shelf caps to maintain full stock levels.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe, clean working environment.
- Be flexible with scheduling by working various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support store operations and customer service consistency.
Challenges in the Role
- Manage a high workload efficiently within a fast-paced, overnight environment while maintaining energy and focus.
- Perform physically demanding tasks including standing for long durations, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Carry out repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing duties with a strong attention to detail to uphold store standards.

Compensation
The position has a minimum starting wage of $16.45 per hour.
