Role Overview

As a Processing Officer at NZ Post's Whanganui Depot, you will play a key role in sorting, consolidating, and preparing parcels and freight for courier delivery. This is an on-call casual position, offering the flexibility to work as needed, primarily covering for permanent staff absences or during high-demand periods. Work Schedule and Compensation

• Rate of pay: $26.75 per hour
• On-call casual employment with work availability Monday to Saturday
• Shift hours include early mornings from 3am to 6am and afternoons from 3pm to 6pm

Candidate Profile

• Availability for on-call shifts Monday through Saturday between 3am-6am and 3pm-6pm
• Dependable transportation to ensure timely arrival
• Physical stamina to remain on foot throughout shifts
• Ability to safely lift parcels up to 25 kilograms
• Strong attention to detail along with good geographic awareness
