About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Insurance Risk Process Executive located in Mohali, Punjab, India, to accurately manage annual risk reviews and credit limits for business partners. This role involves evaluating financial documents, monitoring payment histories, setting credit limits including mark-to-market considerations, calculating Potential Future Exposure (PFE), and securing credit through insurance policies. Additionally, preparing scorecards for accounts with credit limits above $350,000 USD is an essential responsibility. Ensuring approvals align with Bunge's Global Credit Policy, this position significantly influences Bunge's global partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Timely updates of insurance premiums
- Managing cash calls and maintaining accurate cash book records
- Updating underwriting premium reports consistently
- Handling loss billing and settlements of cargo claims
- Coordinating with insurers and brokers to follow up on claim settlements
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Reviewing payments and reserves related to claims
- Maintaining insurance management information systems (MIS) and stock statements
- Mentoring trainees and new team members to foster collaborative efforts toward objectives
- Building and maintaining effective relationships across involved teams and departments
Knowledge and Skills

Technical: Strong understanding of finance, insurance risk, and trading concepts including claims and premium management, coordination with insurers and brokers to prevent delays or penalties, and cashbook updates with reconciliations. Experience in accounting, finance, credit risk, stakeholder coordination, and issue resolution is essential. Exceptional communication and presentation abilities are required. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, persistent, a reliable team player, and capable of leading discussions on reconciliation with key stakeholders such as commercial, finance, and risk teams. The role demands providing excellent customer service to internal and external parties, working independently with attention to detail under pressure, strong written and verbal English skills, problem-solving and organizational skills, experience managing teams through change, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Education and Experience
- University degree such as Graduation, MBA, CMA, or CA
- Two to three years of experience in finance, accounting, risk, or credit functions, preferably within the agriculture industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Previously worked in a Shared Services Centre environment
- Experience handling high transaction volumes
- Proficiency in SAP
- Strong customer service and soft skills
- Familiarity with the commodity industry
