Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze player behavior and product metrics to uncover ways to enhance retention, engagement, progression, monetisation, and lifetime value.
  • Design, conduct, and assess A/B tests with a focus on statistical integrity to generate actionable insights for product improvement.
  • Formulate hypotheses and offer data-backed recommendations to optimize gameplay, level design, live operations, player protection, game economy, and monetisation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Marketing teams to prioritize initiatives that elevate the player experience.
  • Create player segmentation models, predictive analytics, and dashboards to guide product strategies and decision making.
  • Establish success metrics and frameworks to measure new feature performance and live event impacts.
  • Ensure accurate event tracking and high-quality data in partnership with engineering teams.
  • Communicate clear insights and strategic advice to stakeholders to shape product roadmaps and strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive products, and industry best practices to find new growth avenues.
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline and enhance analytical processes and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in product analytics, game analytics, or data science within the mobile gaming sector.
  • Demonstrated history of working on live mobile games, successfully improving core metrics through data-guided decisions.
  • Proven ability to design and implement A/B experiments yielding measurable gains in retention, engagement, monetisation, or lifetime value.
  • Strong knowledge of statistics, experimental design, hypothesis testing, causal inference, and predictive modeling.
  • Expertise in SQL and Python or R for data analytics purposes.
  • Experience using analytics and business intelligence tools such as AppsFlyer, Firebase, Amplitude, Tableau, or equivalents.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mobile game KPIs including retention, engagement, LTV, ARPU, ARPPU, ROAS, cohort and funnel analysis, and player segmentation.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to influence strategic product decisions through data storytelling.
  • Passion for mobile gaming and a deep interest in player behaviors.
  • Willingness to relocate to Singapore to work onsite.
