About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the orientation of the engineering areas related to pool facilities.
- Ensure the swimming pools and water fountains are kept in optimal condition through routine checks and maintenance.
- Implement and follow a preventive maintenance schedule for all pool-related machinery and equipment.
- Administer chemical treatments under the guidance of the pool supervisor.
- Conduct daily analysis of pool water balance, documenting findings in operational logs for supervisor review.
- Maintain the interior lighting of the swimming pools and manage minor electrical repairs at pump stations.
- Provide timely updates on preventative maintenance activities to the pool supervisor.
- Apply proper safety measures when handling chemical products.
- Lead and coordinate pool attendants to ensure efficient daily pool upkeep.
- Maintain health and hygiene standards of the pools at all times.
- Keep work areas and pump stations clean, ensuring safety for both staff and the environment.
- Support good teamwork to meet guest needs outside regular hours.
- Carry out all pool and water feature maintenance duties as assigned by the pool supervisor.
- Respond to maintenance requests, calls, and repairs related to the plant rooms and pool equipment.
- Troubleshoot faults and breakdowns of equipment or plant room issues promptly.
- Maintain underwater and outdoor lighting systems for pools and water features.
- Track usage of repair parts and communicate requirements to the maintenance officer for ordering.
- Perform routine testing and upkeep of fire detection systems to ensure operational safety.
Qualifications & Experience
- Completion of high school diploma is required.
- At least one year of prior experience in a similar pool technician role.
- Experience working in a luxury hotel environment is mandatory.
- A passion for delivering outstanding service quality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English language is essential.
- Capability to work well under pressure and demonstrate teamwork.
