About the role

The Stadtpolizei Bülach is looking for a police officer to join its modern municipal police team. Bülach is a historic yet fast-growing city in the Zurich Unterland, and the police force serves the city of Bülach as well as eight surrounding municipalities, covering about 53,000 residents. The position is available immediately or by arrangement and is offered at 80–100% workload.

Requirements

• Completed police training
• Valid Category B driving licence
• Swiss citizenship and an impeccable record
• Willingness to work irregular shifts, including nights and weekends
• Strong ability to work in a team and handle conflict, along with assertiveness and empathy
• Positive attitude toward citizen-focused, proactive policing
• Flexible, resilient, and responsible personality with strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Carry out a varied and engaging role within a modern municipal police service
• Contribute ideas, initiative, and creativity to help develop Stadtpolizei Bülach further
• Provide core public safety and policing services
• Plan and coordinate operations and campaigns across different focus areas

Working time
