We focus on excellent craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, and fostering a strong team environment. Our workshop in the Dungarvan area is looking for skilled and driven Plastic Fabricators.
Job Overview
The role of Plastics Fabricator is vital to our fabrication department. This hands-on role involves working with plastic materials and components, performing tasks such as routing, deburring, cutting within a manufacturing and fabrication setting.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and finish plastic parts in line with technical drawings and specifications.
- Operate hand tools, routers, and workshop equipment precisely and safely.
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape plastic materials to fulfill quality standards.
- Support production of both custom and repeat orders.
- Keep the workshop area clean, safe, and organised.
- Collaborate with the production team to adhere to quality benchmarks and project timelines.
- Identify and resolve fabrication challenges ensuring compliance with company quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient practical experience with hand tools and routers is essential.
- Background in plastic fabrication, joinery, or cabinet making is highly desirable.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and careful attention to detail.
- Committed to maintaining safety and high-quality work standards.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage ranging from 20 to 22.50.
- 25 days paid annual leave plus statutory holidays, with an option to buy an additional 5 days after probation.
