Position Overview
- Starting salary for a 40-hour week is 32,000; for a 42-hour week, 33,600.
- Uniforms, personal protective equipment (PPE), and work boots are provided at no cost.
- Standard workweek is Monday to Friday with alternating shifts: Week 1 starts at 8:00 AM; Week 2 starts at 10:30 AM, then repeats.
- Occasional Saturday work may be required depending on business demands.
- Work location: Unit 1A, Allied Industrial Estate, Inchicore, Dublin, D10 F780, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, manage, and dispatch all waste at the facility in compliance with licensing and company procedures.
- Complete all paperwork accurately in line with company and legislative standards.
- Operate across all facility areas, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of clinical waste bins.
- Ensure proper segregation and handling of waste upon arrival and during dispatch.
- Load bulk waste trailers and manage waste containers to meet operational needs.
- Use and maintain waste tracking systems effectively.
- Maintain high quality standards and a safe work environment adhering to Health & Safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Report and address any equipment faults or defects, escalating to management as needed.
- Perform additional reasonable duties as required within the role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Basic experience or knowledge of plant or warehouse operations preferred.
- Mandatory training in manual handling and chemical waste handling.
- Forklift certification is advantageous.
- Physically fit and capable of handling demanding tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication abilities and ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and complete multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Self-driven, reliable, enthusiastic, and a cooperative team member.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
