About The Role
Join BOC Limited New Zealand as a Plant Operator in Penrose, Auckland, where you will be a vital part of the Compressed Operations team ensuring gas cylinders, including medical gases, are safely filled, maintained, and dispatched to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Fill and refurbish various types of gas cylinders with precision and care.
- Manage cylinders through loading, unloading, inter-area transfers, and preparation for shipping.
- Perform pressure testing, maintain filling logs, and conduct basic analysis with training provided.
- Operate plant equipment following detailed standard operating procedures.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and quality protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
- Pick, pack, and assist in inventory and stock management functions.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience in production, manufacturing, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Comfortable using basic computer applications and adhering to procedural documentation.
- Effective written and spoken English communication skills.
- Capability to remain physically active and on your feet throughout the workday.
