Position Overview
As the Plant Director at Primo Brands in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, you will hold full accountability for the entire performance and key metrics of our bottling and distribution facility. This role requires leading a unified team of leaders, emphasizing employee retention through dedicated mentoring and growth programs. You will manage financial outcomes including Profit & Loss, while ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Serving as the primary advocate for National Safety and Quality initiatives at the plant, you will cultivate a positive workplace environment and foster strong collaboration with plant leadership and corporate teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Take comprehensive ownership of facility operations and performance metrics.
- Develop and retain a cohesive leadership team utilizing mentoring and employee development strategies.
- Oversee financial performance and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Act as the plant champion for corporate safety and quality programs.
- Promote a positive work culture for all employees.
- Collaborate effectively with plant leaders and corporate partners.
- Partner with Logistics and Tankering functions to ensure timely availability of resources and materials for production.
- Lead production planning and scheduling efforts in coordination with the scheduling team.
- Drive continuous improvement and Total Performance Management practices throughout the facility.
- Ensure operations comply fully with company policies and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local community stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline; a Master's degree is advantageous.
- Minimum of 10 years of substantive experience in manufacturing with progressive roles; at least 3 years in a Factory Manager or similar leadership position.
- Background in consumer packaged goods preferred, especially within the food or beverage sectors.
- Deep technical knowledge spanning manufacturing operations, warehousing, and distribution processes.
- Familiarity with budgeting, planning, safety, quality assurance, and human resource functions.
- Advanced digital skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems like SAP.
- Proven ability to inspire dedication, leading operational and cultural transformation efforts.
- Demonstrated success in team building, mentoring leadership, and meeting performance targets.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or TPM is favored.
- Exceptional communication, relationship management, and presentation skills.
